**POSITION SUMMARY:** Assist manager in overseeing the following duties:

**RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:**

* Coordinate front office activity of retail store and resolve problem arising from customer complaints and unusual requests.

* Confer and cooperate with other retail store and farm managers to ensure coordination of delivery and installation projects.

* Answer inquiries pertaining to product and service. Take phone orders for grass and installation.

* Receive and process payments.

* Maintain payroll data for transfer to Home Office.

* Order grass from farms and outside vendors. Schedule delivery of grass and installation projects.

* Make bank deposits.

* Greet customers.

* Order and maintain office supplies and repair needs for office equipment.

**Qualifications**

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:**

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:**

* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and area.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** (IF APPLICABLE)

* Supervise store operations

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS (Lifting, Bending, Stretching, etc.)**

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear.

* The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

* The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

* Employee may encounter difficult, hostile, upset customers.

* Noise level is usually moderate.

**ADDITIONAL COMMENTS** Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with others.

Must be able to accept corrective criticism from supervisor.

Must be willing to take on a variety of assignments as assigned by management on an as-needed basis within the department and within other areas of King Ranch if necessary.
