We have partnered with a dynamic venture-backed energy technology company headquartered in Texas, is seeking a talented and experienced Controller to join their team!

With a mission to empower buildings to become self-sufficient solar power plants, they are revolutionizing the clean technology industry. As a key member of their team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy independence.

Day to Day:

• Serve as the primary contact for the NetSuite ERP system and oversee the transition from QuickBooks, ensuring smooth integration and optimal functionality.
• Work closely with external service providers covering accounting, tax, benefits, and legal matters to ensure seamless operations.
• Direct all financial activities, including managing the general ledger, overseeing cash flow, handling accounts payable and receivables, supervising payroll, and maintaining internal control policies and procedures.
• Implement robust cost accounting practices and maintain accurate inventory records throughout the manufacturing process.
• Take charge of cash flow management, providing regular reporting to senior management to ensure optimal financial health.
• Lead the coordination of annual audits with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all audit-related activities.

Must Have's:

• 2+ years as a Controller
• 5+ years of Accounting experience in a fast-growth environment
• 3+ years of NetSuite ERP & QuickBooks experience
• Background in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting and inventory tracking experience is key.
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting
